Tryouts for the Iowa Prospects Youth Program will be facilitated by our professional coaching staff. Players will be evaluated on all fundamental aspects of the game—hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, running, and overall athleticism. Just as important, our coaches will assess each player's attitude, effort, focus, and ability to control the controllables throughout the tryout.

Tryout Guidelines:

• Wear baseball pants and either turf shoes or molded cleats (no metal cleats).

• Bring all necessary gear: bat, helmet, glove, and catcher's gear if applicable.

• Dress Code: Look like a baseball player.

• We will keep the tryout moving efficiently while keeping players engaged.

• Parents: Please allow our coaches to run the evaluation process—no sideline coaching.
